You all definitely missed Rivalry Week. I’m not offended, just disappointed. You all watched Florida beat Miami (side note: Felipe Franks is a jerkoff) or watched MLB Player’s Weekend with those overrated all-white/all-black jerseys with the made-up nicknames of 95% of players cause grown ball players don’t have nicknames, this isn’t tee ball. But back to talking soccer, you all missed the best week for MLS action. This is like the last week of the college football season, it’s the week that sets the tone for the postseason. Here’s where we stand with a month remaining in the season.

In the East:

          Atlanta United and Philadelphia remain atop of the table with a game in hand next Saturday which will be crucial. NYCFC (the team that looks like Manchester City playing in Yankee Stadium) hangs on the 3rd spot in the East while 4th place D.C. United is slowly dying because like all D.C. sports teams, they just don’t really like playing in the postseason. Especially after losing their star Wayne Rooney. My money is on Philly in the East and have a Cup future on them. Deep squad and due for cup run.

Those are your 3 teams to bet on come playoffs to win the East and the MLS Cup. But for the remaining 6 or so regular season here are your gambling tips for the rest of the season:

          FADE F.C. Cincinnati and Columbus Crew!

Both of these Ohio teams are bad for different reasons. Cincy because they are new and have the least amount of talent in the league, and Columbus because they’ve been riddled by injuries all year (Soccer is a contact sport). I’ve been fading these guys all year, which is the reason for being The MLS Lock Lord of 2019.

In the West:

          LAFC is still the favorite to win the West and the MLS Cup, and the 1 and 1 playoff schedule will benefit them if they get vulnerable like they did with “El Trafico” counterpart LA Galaxy in both encounters this year. Wet the beak a little by riding with either of the LA teams with LAFC or the sleeper LA Galaxy.Real Salt Lake, Seattle and Minnesota all look to finish strong, so take them against lower competition. As for the lower competition;

              FADE Colorado and Vancouver!

          Like F.C. Cincy and the Crew from Columbus these teams have stunk all year and things don’t look positive, so fade them and get ya pockets deeper.
