The UEFA Champions League starts up in a week and there is money to be made while you sit through an afternoon class or are trying to get through the dragging hours of the early afternoon, you just have to listen to me to find it. Here are your picks for the Group stage.

Group A: PSG (Even)

Both PSG and Real Madrid will move past the group stage but it’s as toss up on the group winner. Real Madrid is actually the favorite at (-125) but think the value is with PSG. Club Brugge and Galatasaray, the powerhouse of Turkish soccer, just don’t have the talent to compete with the big boys in the group.

Group B: Bayern Munich (-187)

The Bavarians only test in the group is Tottenham whose domestic schedule is tough is a +150 to win the group while Olympiakos and lowly Serbian side Red Star Belgrade round out the group. Barring disaster, expect Tottenham to advance with Bayern onto the next round.

Group C: Man City (-800)

Take Man City on the spread and their team goals over. Collect your money after the game. Serie A side Atalanta is my pick to move on with Man City as Shakhtar and Dinamo Zagreb don’t stack up quite as well as Atalanta.

Group D: Juventus (-162)

You’ll never find me betting against Juventus, even before they had Ronaldo. The only competition they’ll have is when they face Atletico Madrid who is a +150 favorite to win the Group.
