Patrick “Showtime” Kane moved into the Top 10 in all time points for American-born players on Sunday with 1000 career points from a crafty behind the net dish.

Best Celly

Kane is the best American hockey player to ever live, regardless of whether he beats Brett Hull’s point record of 1391 or not. Kaner would’ve had 1391 goals, let alone points had he played in Hull’s era (no disrespect to Hully he’s an animal). Go down the YouTube rabbit hole of his highlights (on and off the ice) and you’ll realize the lefty sniper is Mr. America. Many more points to come from Mr. 1000.

Side bar: NBC leaving him off the Top 10 players of the decade list was a complete travesty.
