The Florida Panthers are the ultimate paradox. I think this team can be DANGEROUS if they can find an ounce of decent goaltending and if someone besides Keith Yandle decides to step up defensively. However….. They put the puck in the net almost at will, and with style too, see below for example #1.
Barkov is arguably the most underrated player in the league and he’s equipped with some nifty pieces offensively to help him carry the load. Do I think they’ll win the Cup? No. The East? Eh no. And honestly don’t see them winning the Atlantic either baring a collapse from Boston or a Panther hot streak.
But they’ll make the playoffs and if Bob steps up like he did during his time in Columbus they are a team you don’t want to see. Coach Q, a dynamite offense, and an on point goalie in Bobrovsky has all the elements to make for a dangerous playoff team. Just keep an eye out for them and continue pounding their Overs.
