I’ve heard this part of the Canada is beautiful in the summertime, but it’s Antarctica in the winter for all intensive purposes. But after Wednesday nights game between the Flames and the Oilers, I need a one-way ticket to Alberta and hopefully I can rent a snowmobile as transportation during my visit.
We had bad blood, two teams fighting for playoff contention, a shoot out, and Matthew Tkachuk drops the gloves with Zack Kassian.
This is like Red Sox-Yankees, Cowboys-Eagles, Duke-UNC, but for the middle of Canada where all there is to do is watch hockey religiously and crush Molson’s. So sign me up for a trip whenever I get some money in my pockets. Also heard the Calgary Stampede event in the summer is wild too. O’ Canada!
Next time these teams play please tune in. It’s playoff hockey whenever these two square off.
