Rejoice, pals. Despite the fact that today is Valentine’s Day, love isn’t the only thing in the air this weekend. Tomorrow at 2pm week 2 of the XFL Season kicks off and there are some very intriguing gambling spots so let’s dive right in.

NY Guardians @ DC Defenders -6.5 ou49, 2pm Saturday

Statistically speaking, the Guardians and Defenders were the best 2 teams of XFL opening weekend. The Guardians defense was staunch and forced 3 turnovers, while the Defenders 31 was good enough for second in the league in scoring including a pick 6 and a blocked punt TD. This is going to be a fun game in DC and ultimately I think the Defenders Offense shines brightest. I feel good about DC -6.5 but the total has me conflicted. 49 still feels a little high and I’m honestly tempted to play every under on the board again this week (under was 3-1 in week 1). So for now we’re gonna lay off the total although I lean under but let’s lock in Defenders -6.5 for a unit as pick 1.

Dallas Renegades -4 @ LA Wildcats ou48, 3pm Sunday

2 teams coming off disappointing openers to the season, they only managed to scrounge up 26 points combined last week. Landry Jones is set to make his debut at QB for the Renegades this week which should provide a spark but I think it’s reasonable to expect the offense will have some kinks to work out. This one just screams under to me, so we’re gonna lay a unit on the u48. I lean Dallas pretty hard right now but we’ll save that for Sunday.

So far we’re 2-1 +.9 units but I fully intend to make the XFL my bitch this year so stay tuned for more picks as the season goes on. Make sure you grab this weekend by the balls and give her a good twist for me pals, I’ve been demoted bach to walking on crutches so I’m gonna have nothing but time to handicap and write for the next couple weeks and if nothing else I’m gonna deliver the people some winners.
