Welcome back to volume 5 of today with baseball. For those who are unfamiliar with what the phrase means. Check out the intro blog here.

Today’s Moment? Trevor Bauer’s bleeding finger 2016 ALCS game 3

The story of Trevor Bauer leaving a game in the 1st inning because of injury isn’t that strange on the surface. It’s the fact that he was sent to the showers early because he cut his finger on a fucking drone during the American League Championship Series.

Full disclosure, I was never really a fan of Bauer until recently when he appeared on PMT. His antics and publicity stunts always just seemed fake and phony but him coming out and saying he’s fully aware of playing the villain role and just trying to do shit to make people laugh, it made him appear more “bro-ish” and relatable.

With that being said, I still think he’s a fucking moron for being anywhere near a drone during the whole month of October. Like dude, you work with your hands for a living. You’re also not some jerkoff accountant working in the cubes who also works with his hands everyday.

I’m excited for Bauer and the entire Reds team in 2020. I really like what they’re trying to do in a division that seems to be trending down. The NL Central can be very exciting at the top of the standings this year – the Pirates couldn’t be more irrelevant right now.
