It’s not every NHL Thursday when multiple Cup contenders from both conferences play each other. Four of the Top 10 teams in the league will square off as Boston hosts Dallas and the Islanders will travel to St. Louis to take on the defending champion Blues.

The Bruins are the best home team in the NHL with only 3 home losses, but the Stars are a strong away team with the 2nd best road record in the Western Conference behind the Avalanche. This game is a potential Cup Final filled with electric goal scorers like David Pastranak and Tyler Seguin while being complemented by star goaltending in Tuukka Rask and Ben Bishop. Expect a tight first period and a one goal game throughout the game, maybe even OT. Home ice gives Boston the advantage. Bruins 4, Dallas 3.

The other game worth tuning in to is the Islanders v.s. Blues. This game isn’t gonna be as pretty or as face paces as Boston/Dallas, but this is the kind of game you want your future kid to watch and learn from. This game is exploding with grit and good fundamental hockey. St. Louis is a dominant home team but will face a bitter Islander team that got snubbed in a 4-3 loss to same city rival the NY Rangers. Except a low scoring game and 2-1 Blues victory.

If you want to watch a goal fiesta tune in to Florida/Toronto tonight. The O/U is at 7…. so hammer the over and enjoy the 10 game slate tonight.
