The top two teams in the Metropolitan face-off in a massive NBCSN Wednesday Rivalry Night contest when the 1st place Capitals welcome the Broad Street Bullies to the nations capital.

The Flyers have been on a heater as of late, winning 6 games in a row and passed the Penguins for the 2nd place spot in the ‘Met, but this game is a true measuring stick as to how far this team can go come playoffs. Yes the Flyers are a dominate home-team, but their road record is .500, which leaves much to be desired and will have to improve to give fans optimism once the Orange & Black play games in rinks other than the Wells Fargo Center.

The Flyers had previous success this year in D.C. with a 7-2 beat down back in early February, but don’t expect another blowout. The Flyers are underdogs in the Metropolitan clash at +125 with the favored Capitals at -150. I see this being a one goal game with a strong possibility of overtime, and for those of you thrill seekers the OT line for this game is set at +300.

Sit back and enjoy some good ‘ol Metropolitan hockey.
