Week 1 of the 25th MLS season showed us a number of few faces in Miami and Nashville, both of whom filled their arenas to the brim and gave inspiring efforts despite one goal losses. Week 2 brings some quality games, and I’ll try and get a read on an early MLS season that typically confuses handicappers.
Like last year we continue to fade FC Cincinnati as they go up against Atlanta United. Atlanta just lost elite all star striker Josef Martinez last week, but still poise too much of a problem for Cincinnati. Atlanta United money line -230.
Other squads like Chicago and Montreal look to be some of the weaker sides in the MLS. Taking New England Revolution money line at -105 against Chicago and high octane FC Dallas at -200 against Montreal.
Interested to see how Inter Miami plays against a side that isn’t LAFC, as they go on the road to face a Wayne Rooney-less D.C. United. Look for them to get their first franchise point with a draw at + 235.
Enjoy the weekend slate of footy and kick back on the couch while I make you money (hopefully).
