Hello Hello Hello. It’s almost that time. Can you feel it? This quarantine has been more miserable than that time I chugged a gallon of milk in under 15 minutes and puked for 2.5 hours, BUT the NFL draft is tomorrow and I’m STOKED. Let’s not beat around the bush, I have a prop bet that I’m absolutely in love with and I’m here to break it down for you.
O/U 5.5 Alabama Players Drafted In the 1st Round: Over 5.5 (+110), Under 5.5 (-150).
There are 4 automatic locks for Bama players getting drafted in the first round. Tua, Jeudy, Ruggs, and Wills are all top 15 picks and 100% getting their name called on night 1 of the NFL Draft. End of story, there’s 4.
The final two Bama players that are being considered as 1st round picks are Safety Xavier McKinney and Corner Trevon Diggs. This is where our prop gets a little dicey. Mel Kiper Jr.’s most recent mock has McKinney going at 17 to the Cowboys and Diggs at 61 to the Titans. Yet, other mocks I’m looking at have Diggs going to Minnesota at 22 or the Chiefs at 32, and McKinney going to the Dolphins at 18 as Minkah Fitzpatrick’s replacement.
Here’s the bottom line. McKinney and Diggs have both been thrown around as 1st round picks in mock drafts across the internet. Diggs has been ranked as the 3rd best corner in this draft behind CJ Henderson, and McKinney is even being considered as the top Safety in the draft over Grant Delpit. I like Over 5.5 Bama players drafted in the 1st round A LOT.
Clearly, this bet will be a sweat regardless of which side you take. I’m going to lean on the University of Alabama’s reputation and smack this over harder than Ari Gold bitch slapped Adam Davies in Entourage. That’s the mother of my children, you bitch.
Throw the stimmy check on Bama Over 5.5 Players Drafted in the 1st Round and enjoy draft night because it’s the closest thing to sports we will be getting for a while. Together, we sweat.
