Arsenal Football Club, the Gunners, the red side of North London, used to be an absolute WAGON. I’m talking about the ‘04 Invincible’s, yes that was their nickname, the Invincible s. Maybe the only better nickname of a team would be the 1992 USA Men’s Olympic basketball team, better known as The Dream Team.
This Arsenal team didn’t lose a game in the ‘04 season. 26 wins, 12 draws, and 0 losses. I know 12 ties sounds like a lot, but in the grand scheme of things, that’s a testament to this team being so lethal and not dropping games. Like their Twitter account states, they never took an L

This team would’ve spanked today’s Liverpool team. You think Liverpool wouldn’t lose for a whole season? Think again. Arsene Wenger (perfect fitting name for the club) was a visionary manager, and he was also the genius that signed Thierry Henry, the most underrated player ever. Both of those two would’ve embarrassed Jurgen Klopp and Mo Salah, no debate needed.

Thierry Henry brought ENERGY to the pitch, and at one point was the biggest star in the soccer, and sports world. He made it cool to watch soccer. Unfortunately, when he came to the NY Red Bulls of the MLS, he wasn’t the same star we saw at Arsenal, but still had that energy from Arsenal that we fell in love with.
Today in ‘04, the Invincible s claimed their title and closed it off with a win at home. We haven’t seen them back to this success (or anywhere close) for some time now, but that doesn’t mean we have to forget the club that refused to take an L for an entire season. Hoping my Wolverhampton Wanderers can do the same next Premier League Campaign… or any club for that matter. I just want soccer back.
