The first weekend slate of Bundesliga games brought some money in my pocket. Ended with a 4-4 record, but one that ended me up 4.1 units, so I hope you tailed me. If you didn’t tail every pick, or just tailed me on my Bayern Munich pick, don’t worry if you’re down. Week 2 of post-quarantine Bundesliga matches has winners in the weeds, and Barney Bundesliga is here to give it to ya.

Hertha Berlin v. Union Berlin

Ah the Berlin Derby. Historically speaking, this rivalry has been neck and neck. Out of their past 5 games against each other, 2 have been draws and the other 3 have been one goal games. Expect this one Friday to be no different, I’m throwing 1 unit on a draw at +230.

Borussia Monchengladbach v. Bayer Leverkusen

This game is tricky. Both squads can put the ball in the back of the net, but sometimes in soccer when two high octane teams meet, it ends in a low-scoring game, as crazy as it sounds. The over is at 3.5, which is just too much for me to throw money on, especially so early on after this Bundesliga return. I’m throwing a unit on Leverkusen ml (+170), but it’ll be a close one for sure. If you want to fade me take the value of a tie at +260.

SC Freiburg v. Werder Bremen

Hand up, this was a toss up, and in toss up’s, there’s only one thing to do, bet the draw. Barney Ties is back with this juicy tie value of +250 for one unit.

Paderborn v. Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim got embarrassed last week against Herth Berlin, but I don’t see them dropping points again against bottom-dweller Paderborn. Hammer Hoffenheim ML at +110, and Barney Bundesliga is throwing 2 units on it.

Wolfsburg v. Dortmund

Dortmund was a juggernaut last week against Schalke. This team is talented, and I’m gonna ride the hot foot and take Dortmund ML at -130 for one unit. Also throwing a unit on Dortmund keeping a clean sheet (not allowing a goal for those new to soccer) at +185.

Bayern Munich v. Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayern couldn’t cover the -2.5 goal line I gave out next week, but this week they’ll pull through. I’m throwing a unit on Bayern -2.5 (EVEN) and a unit on Bayern shutting out Frankfurt, which is also an EVEN line.

Schalke v. FC Augsburg

Schalke, Schalke, Schalke. They are a coin-flip away from being my enemy of the Bundesliga if they drop this one. Despite being blown out last week by Dortmund, this team has some talent, and will look to bounce back. I’m throwing 1 unit on Schalke money line (+105), but if they can’t get the job done, it’s fade on sight.

Mainz v. RB Leipzig

Leipzig got shocked with last weeks draw, but they’ll bounce back against a middling Mainz side. Leipzig ml is at -220 as of Thursday, so wait a bit for it to become more favorable, or throw a live bet for maximum value on Leipzig. Check my Twitter for a live update, and this time I will do it. Last time I overslept and missed the live line bet… opps.

FC Köln (Cologne) v. Fortuna Düsseldorf

Barney Bundesiga is back on his BS with his Billy Goats. They Billy Goats are again favorites at -125, so you know I’m all in on my Billy Goats.

Germany is a friendly country nowadays. They’ve made great strides in engineering, medicine, cars, and if you listen to Barney Bundesliga, he’ll give you the German locks.
