After a 5-3 Knockout Round record, I’m feeling confident rolling into the Elite Eight of this MLS is Back Tournament. The major shock in the last round was Columbus getting bounced. I really thought they had that “Team of Destiny” vibe. Nonetheless, soccer goes on. The NBA dropping their debut today is another sweet treat, so add a game from the MLS to sweeten up parlays, or cover your losses from the hardwood. Let’s kick it fellas.

Philadelphia Union v. Sporting KC

You know how I said that Columbus was a “Team of Destiny”? Yeah, that was a big fat lie. There’s only one (maybe two) team of destiny, and the Philadelphia Union are that team who’s got the magic. Andre Blake has been lights out in net, and Jim Curtain has them playing gritty soccer that is hard to beat. The Union are being insulted here by Vegas. Give me my hometown club ML at +275 to start off the Quarterfinals.

LAFC V. Orlando City SC

LAFC are just a wagon right now, and ya can’t bet against a wagon. Orlando will give them a game, at least for the first half. Taking the powerhouse LAFC at -125 odds, and the over of 3.5 at +115.

TLDR:

Philly Union ML +275

LAFC ML -125

LAFC/Orlando Over 3.5 goals (+115)

Look out for a follow-up blog once the upcoming game lines are released. Enjoy baseball, basketball, my other favorite sport ice hockey, and enjoy the quarterfinals of the MLS is Back. Sports are back, and as always, kick it easy.
