It’s felt like ages since I got my MLS fix, and now its the grand finale. We get to see who will win the Covid Cup, and it’s between two teams that no one gave much of a chance to. Portland notched a huge win against my Philly Union last week, while Orlando is shoving it up everyone’s hoop by winning games against teams they probably shouldn’t beat. But that’s why the brackets are the best, the create chaos.
These two play a similar style of play, and both rely on their stars of Nani and Diego Valeri respectively to haul the work load. Who would I be if I didn’t take a regular-time draw? These teams will have to duke it out to extra time.
I’m taking the regular-time draw at +240, and I’m taking Portland at +170 full-time to become the inaugural MLS is Back, aka Covid Cup, champion. Expect a bigger celebration than their last game though, cause they feel it in the air tonight.

Regardless of the result tonight, it’s been great watching soccer from 9AM through midnight thanks to the MLS. As always, and until next time, kick it easy lads.
