Back with some short previews. Keeping these light and loose.

UCF/HOU – Open HOU +3 O/U 76.5. NOW HOU +2.5 O/U 82.5

Another week, another explosive performance from UCF’s offense. QB Dillon Gabriel went for 422 yards and 5 TD’s, RB Greg McCrae ran 25 times for 162 and 2 TD’s, and WR Marlon Williams had another huge game catching the ball 9 times for 174 and 3 TD’s. Like clockwork.

-Houston moves to 2-1 this year after they beat Navy 37-21 on Saturday. This is the 2nd week in a row Clayton Tune hit greater than 67.7% of his passes while going over 300 yards and at least 2 TD’s without throwing a pick.

-The total has jumped 6 points to 82.5. HOU overs are 3-0 and UCF overs are 4-1. AAC Overs are 30-17-3 this season hitting at 60%.

-Both defenses are shot, UCF gives up 8.5 yards per pass attempt and Houston gives up 9.6. BUT on the ground Houston is only giving up 2.6 yards per rush while UCF is giving up 4.3

I don’t like total, I usually lay off anything over 75, but this should be a fun one. Not sure if I love anything here besides UCF first half.

OSU/PSU – Open OSU -8, O/U 61.5. Now OSU -12, O/U 64

-PSU got upset by Indiana on one of the most controversial game winning 2 point conversion’s I’ve ever seen, and also one of the most meme-able photos of all time.

-The Nittany Lions held IU to 210 total yards and 3.4 yards per play while putting up 488 yards of offense. Yet, PSU went 3/6 in the red zone and their D collapsed when it counted. Clifford didn’t look amazing and turned the ball over twice. It’ll be interesting to see how he does against OSU’s pass D which only let up 160 yards passing but got smoked on the ground by QB’s Adrian Martinez and Luke McCaffrey.

-OSU rolled on Nebraska 52-17. Justin Fields went 20/21 with 276 yards and 2 TD’s, and also added 54 rush yards and a score on the ground. Just about a perfect game for the future 1st round QB. The Buckeyes forced 2 fumbles on D, but let up 3 sacks and 6 TFL on the other side of the trenches.

– If I bet this I’m not riding with PSU. OSU has to play a perfect season to secure a CFB Playoff birth and their foot is on the gas. I think most of their games this season will look like the last one against Nebraska. PSU will try to play spoiler but without their usual home field advantage in Happy Valley I don’t think they have a shot to upset OSU in this one. Leaning OSU spread and looking into the over.
