Aim small, miss small. Those are the words I’m preaching today. We bit off more than we could chew yesterday. VAR was once again our enemy, but the Boardies don’t embrace excuse. We embrace locks. Only two games on the docket today, so let’s aim small to hit big.
First game of the day is Aston Villa v. Burnley. Villa is trying to gain the form they had earlier in the year by riding their last outings win over Wolves. They’ll be without center midfielder Douglas Luiz and outside back Matty Cash (First-Team All EPL Name Team), but Burnley are Burnley. It’ll be a close game, but give me Villa ML at -135.
That’s my only individual play of the day, but my big play of the is the BBCP. Villa are squaring off against 17th Burnley, and Manchester United play Sheffield who are the Jets of the EPl. Villa/ManU ML parlay at +150 is the move if you don’t want to lay United -200.
Also NBC making Peacock a thing frustrates me as a cable guy. Sorry for the rant, kick it easy.
