MLS is Back Big Board: Saturday, April 17th

Friday’s opening day was a good one for the Boardies. Nice 2-1 record thanks to Seattle laying a beat down on Minny. 8 games go on today from 2PM-8:30. May not take action on all of them, but definitely going to try to. Big Saturday, let’s ride.

Starting with the afternoon games, it’s a no-brainer to take the teams that have been playing CONCACAF Champions League games. Toronto has looked incredible in the CCL games they’ve played, and Montreal is nothing special. On Toronto ML +120 v. Montreal. Atlanta and Orlando square off in the 3 o’clock game in the Southern Derby. These games are always awesome. Maybe the best rivalry that no one talks about. Atlanta have looked like the Atlanta of old in their CCL games, and it’s hard to know of Orlando are going to be the same team without Daryl Dike. I like a small unit play on a draw at +260, but I love a big play on the over of 2.5 goals at -120.

Historically speaking, new MLS teams struggle in their first year. That trend is probably going to continue with Austin FC, who get to play powerhouse LAFC in their first game. For those of you who want to ride McConaughey’s team from Austin you can get them on the money line at +510. Myself on the other hand, I will be hammering LAFC -1 at -140.

We have some thrillers in the nightcap. 5 games kick off at 8, but I’m only on 2 of them. FC Dallas is my dark horse club this year, and they play Colorado today who I’m not too high on. Dallas ML +110 is my first nightcap move. Operation Fade FC Cincinnati is still an ongoing effort coming into the 2021 season. They play Nashville tonight, and Nashville is an absolute wagon I the making. All over Nashville ML at -120.

More action coming tomorrow. Kick it easy gang.
