Well well well. First off, you never wanna see anyone go down with an injury and if you do, I bet you hate dogs. CMC tweaked his hammy while trying to highstep/ juke a defender and it was all downhill from there. 0-2 on both his receiving and rushing props. We all knew DJ Moore was Darnold’s favorite target but not a single deep shot to RA? The fastest wideout on the team? Joe Brady is getting head coaching interviews? SMH! Darnold kinda saved the day throwing for 304 yards (Over 300 +230) and covering the spread. Looks like CMC will miss some games and the Panthers will be 3-3 walking into Week 7. We went 2-4 on TNF, however we were only down a little less than a full unit thanks to Darnold. Enough about Darnold, let’s get into the Sunday slate and a wild wild future.
WFT at Buffalo
I have flipped the switch on Heinicke. He truly hasn’t had a very bad game as a starting QB in the NFL. That happens Sunday in Buffalo. WFT’s defense is supposed to be very good but as Danny Dime showed us last Thursday, they don’t know how to handle a mobile QB. Josh Allen rushing TD…yes please. I expect Josh to have a great day which means Diggs will too.
Picks:
Josh Allen Anytime TD
Josh Allen Over Passing Yards
Stefon Diggs Over Receiving Yards
Chargers at Chiefs
Mahomes is pissed. At himself, at CEH and at his Tik Tok making brother. Mahomes does not lose back to back games, it just doesn’t happen. But do they cover the TD spread? Idk yet. The Chargers are good, but can they go on the road and win a big game, no! Herbert loves Mike Will Made iT (Mike Williams for the clowns who don’t get the joke) but Sunday is Keenan’s day. Fuck it, Chiefs are winning this game by double digits. Also, I am chasing Mecole until he catches a 55 yard TD this year.
Picks:
Keenan Allen Over Receiving Yards
Mecole Hardman Anytime TD
Chiefs -7
Jared Cook Anytime TD (Don’t ask why)
Seahawks at Vikings
I have a new strat. Afternoon FOX games equal points. Even though Gus Johnson is not on the call, FOX afternoon games go over. We got some crazy prop bets on this one. This will be Justin Jefferson’s sophomore year coming out party. He waited till week 3 last year and he is doing the same this year. Seahawks will take their shots down field to Lockett and DK but when it comes to the RedZone, they will run the ball (for once). Good day to have Chris Carson on your fantasy team. Crazy prop time!
Picks:
OVER
Justin Jefferson Over Receiving Yards
Justin Jefferson TWO Touchdowns
Chris Carson TWO Touchdowns
Packers at 49ers
Fantastic SNF game. These uniform combos are going to be great. Like Mahomes, A-Aron is also pissed off. Time to feed Davante like 20 touches! Jimmy G is good but it’s SNF so you know things are going to get weird. Trey Lance RedZone SZN! Also, where the fuck has Kittle been this year. Break out game for one the Top 5 TEs in the game? I think so.
Picks:
Trey Lance Anytime Touchdown
Davante Adams TWO Touchdowns
George Kittle Over Receiving Yards
Wild Future
I went back and forth on this one. Jets to win the Superbowl? Even though the value is there, I just don’t think it happens. For this future, we are focusing on the Comeback Player of the Year. Alex Smith won it last year and what he accomplished was truly amazing. Staying in the same lane with injury, this player was once the best at his position, never needed two hands to secure a TD and hasn’t played a game yet this year. This value is way too good to pass up!
